World brain day

July 22nd is World Brain Day, an annual celebration suggested by the Public Awareness and Advocacy Committee to be July 22, 2014. This was based on the date when the World Federation of Neurology was established in 1957. Its main objective “is to increase public awareness and promote advocacy related to brain health.”


Patriotism is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.

Mindfulness meditation

Mindfulness is that state in which you are aware of what is currently happening. It is simply living today – leaving behind unpleasant things that have already happened without worrying about what the future might hold. Mindfulness meditation, used as a therapeutic technique, is when our mind accepts all our bodily sensations in a calming way.
